During the design process, the main goal was to create a fresh and vibrant visual identity, rooted in the core value of the business; the quality of their products. Every element that gravitates around “Huerta Viva!” is natural, fresh and made with care, and the visual components of the brand should also reflect those values. That was our reasoning for creating the ad hoc typography – we were not striving for perfection. Just like with their vegetables and products, each character looks organic in its shape – imperfect and unique.
The “gourmet” product category required a distinct element. To ensure that consumers could easily relate the gourmet category to Huerta Viva!, we kept a coherent visual language with the overarching brand, but developed a new colour system to signify a unique, premium personality to the gourmet range.
